As a teacher, it is my strongest belief that all students have the capability of extending and widening their knowledge. With the aid of a teacher, not only should you as a student be able to hit your target but surpass it through the correct planning. Lessons should both fit the curriculum plan but also give you external knowledge on a broader range of topics to help you reach their higher-order thinking. It is, therefore, my aim to provide a learning environment that ensures, you as a student reach your full potential. With that in mind, my primary focus as a classroom teacher is to broaden your knowledge of the world around you from a local to a global scale. I am aware that all students have different learning styles, my teaching strategy is to use multiple methods of teaching whether its kinaesthetic, visual, auditory and linguistic.
I have tutored students previously within the schools I have worked in. I have also set out interventions for at risk students helping them achieve the grades they need to pass.
Lessons are planned and tailored to how the student learns best. It will have a range of activities from teaching, knowledge recall and exam practice. Techniques used will be specifically adapted to how the student progresses and shows best learning.
